The management team is thrilled to share that yesterday, we broke ground on our newest development, an expansion to both our Guardian Center for Memory Support and our private skilled nursing rooms! This project is especially exciting because it will not only enhance the Guardian Center with 12 beautiful new apartments, a new lounge, enhanced finishes throughout, and a remodeled dining room, but it will also significantly improve our skilled nursing accommodations by allowing us to convert some of our existing Guardian Center apartments into private skilled nursing rooms.
Skilled Nursing Expansion
This second phase, which we anticipate beginning in approximately 12 months, will convert 11 of our existing Guardian Center apartments into private skilled nursing rooms, increasing the number of these rooms from 47 to 69. With this project, we will eliminate all but two of our semi-private skilled nursing rooms, giving us the opportunity to give our residents more privacy and support here at The Christian Village at Mason. Ultimately, this means that when you or a loved one needs skilled nursing care, you can be confident that a private room will be available.
Local Parnerships
CVM is partnering with the esteemed RCS Construction group and Luminaut to help bring this project to life. RCS is part of Bruns Construction, and they have over seven decades of construction experience. We have partnered with Luminaut many times in the past and most recently on our new Sunrise Vista expansion.
We are excited about this investment in our community and look forward to providing even greater comfort, privacy, and quality of care for those we serve. We currently have a capital campaign underway to help raise funds for Phase 2 of the project. The campaign is called the Cherished Spaces Campaign.
