The heart of any organization is its culture, and the culture here at CVM is Christian-centered and faith-filled. Our goal is to guide residents to joyful and purposeful life experiences that provide spiritual inspiration, honor God, and serve others.

Programs and Services

Devotions and Bible study groups occur throughout the week. On Sunday, residents are invited to attend our one-hour worship service at 10:15 a.m. in the beautiful Stone Worship Center. Our Chaplain shares relevant messages from God’s word, and the Director of Music leads the assembly in a Spirit filled worship service, with the singing of hymns, special music, and the taking of the Lord’s Supper.

Chaplain David Ray

Chaplain David Ray plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive and faith-based environment at CVM.

He leads various religious activities and programs to serve the spiritual needs of the community, including “Daily Devotions” on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Stone Center Worship on Sundays. These programs are broadcast live on CVC TV, ensuring that all residents, regardless of their mobility, can participate and find spiritual nourishment from the comfort of their own spaces. In addition to his regular spiritual services, Chaplain Ray is also actively involved in organizing and facilitating support groups. One notable initiative is the Grief Support Group, which provides a structured space for residents to process their grief and find healing through guided conversations and resources.
