TITLE: Development Assistant Part Time or Full Time
EXEMPT STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: VP of Development
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Development Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the VP of Development in all fundraising activities including donor and public relations, direct mail appeals and special events.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
Essential Job Duties:
- Works with CVC Office Assistant in processing donations, acknowledgment letters, and other correspondence.
- Maintains foundation, corporation, and individual donor files
- Creates monthly fundraising reports and other database reports, as needed.
- Assists with maintaining accurate database records and ensuring proper donor activity tracking in database.
- Conducts preliminary research on prospective donors.
- Assists in production and mailing of spring and year-end appeal letters.
- Coordinates fundraising event planning and logistics for fundraisers
- Handles all administrative details associated with the Development office.
- Prepares media materials for distribution. (i.e. copying, filing, mailing, e-mailing).
- Assembles media and donor kits for events and meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.

The Driver is responsible for the timely and safe transporting of residents to various individual and group activities.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
Essential Job Duties:
- Picks up and delivers residents to all scheduled activities where transportation is needed.
- Completes a safety check of the bus/car before transporting residents to and from scheduled trips or activities.
- Accurately records vehicle mileage and resident attendance for all scheduled transportation.
Other Duties:
- Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.
- Transports vehicle to service locations for routine preventive maintenance on vehicles as scheduled by supervisor.
- Notifies supervisor of necessary bus repairs and vehicle malfunctions.
- Notifies supervisor of resident concerns, problems, or incidents immediately.
- Makes miscellaneous runs for administration errands as necessary.
- Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.

Job Summary
The Clinical Manager – Memory Care is responsible for the clinical oversight and daily nursing operations of the Memory Care program, including Assisted Living and a 16-bed licensed nursing unit that will be specializing in dementia care. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations. The position provides leadership to nursing staff, promotes positive clinical outcomes, and supports residents and families throughout the continuum of memory support services.
Duties
Clinical Leadership & Oversight
- Oversee all nursing services within Memory Care (AL and nursing beds).
- Ensure compliance with Ohio assisted living and skilled nursing regulations.
- Monitor clinical systems including assessments, care plans, medication management, and documentation.
- Ensure appropriate resident placement and level-of-care determinations.
- Lead care conferences and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Dementia Care Excellence
- Promote evidence-based dementia care practices.
- Ensure individualized, person-centered care planning.
- Provide guidance to staff on behaviors, safety interventions, and non-pharmacological approaches.

Staff Management & Development
- Supervise and mentor licensed nurses and caregiving staff.
