Keep Having the Time of Your Life!

stay active during senior years

You so look forward to the blissful days of retirement. Less day-to-day stress. More free time. More flexibility to do the things you truly want to do.

And all those things are wonderful indeed, but…sometimes not having your daily routine and the constant contact with co-workers makes for a difficult transition. To keep an active social life, you may need to make a concerted effort to fill up your calendar a bit more and perhaps a bit differently.

One of the easiest ways to see friends and make new ones is to be an active participant in the Village’s activities. You can go with your CVM friends on social or volunteer outings to places like the Cincinnati Symphony, the Taft Museum or Matthew 25 Ministries. There are a variety of clubs and organizations to join that complement your current interests or expand your horizons.

“Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.”
-Marcel Proust
